Barb was the very first volunteer at Grace TR! She started out visioning this new program with founder Allison Van Wyngarden and helped with training the horses for their new job! Once the program started, Barb volunteered as a side walker during sessions. With the growth of Grace TR, it quickly became clear that the team needed to grow, and Barb joined the team in the fall of 2022 as the Volunteer Coordinator. Barb enjoys working with the volunteers and organizing events. Grace TR has an incredible group of volunteers. Barb creates a welcoming atmosphere for all who come to Grace TR.

Barb grew up riding horses at a young age. Her family did small shows around the area and then as she got older started showing horses all around the state of Iowa. Horses have always been a fun activity for her family. Barb enjoys spending time with our family and friends, traveling, and being a grandma.
